Privacy Policy
How we handle your information and the choices available to you.
Last updated 13 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Pacific Fund Pty Ltd collects through pacificfund.com.au, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What information do we collect?
You do not need an account or need to provide personal information to browse this website.
- Server logs. Our web host records technical information such as your IP address, requested page, time and browser information. A requested address can include search or filter parameters. Logs support security and troubleshooting.
- Enquiries. If you use our contact form, the name, email address, optional company, enquiry type, optional portfolio business and message you provide are sent to our configured company inbox with the submission time. We use these details to respond to your enquiry. Your raw IP address is not included in the enquiry email, and the application does not store your message in the portfolio database.
- Abuse prevention. The enquiry form uses a session cookie, form tokens and a rate limit. For the rate limit, the application stores a keyed hash of the network address and an attempt count, rather than the raw address. Entries more than a day old are removed during the next enquiry request that checks the rate limit.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary session cookies protect the enquiry form and administrator sign-in. Disabling these cookies can prevent those features from working, but you can still read the public website.
We also count openings of the portfolio’s “Visit website” links to understand which websites receive interest. These records contain the portfolio website identifier, the time and the link’s position on this site. They do not contain visitor identifiers, IP addresses, browser information or referral addresses, and do not use cookies. Repeat openings count separately. We retain these records for reporting across different time periods.
When enabled, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand use of the public site: portfolio views, filter use, visits to portfolio websites, known portfolio referrals, and enquiry starts and accepted submissions. Our analytics events use business identifiers, enquiry types and general page information. We do not send names, email addresses, company names, message contents or raw search text to analytics. Page addresses in these events exclude query parameters, and referral URLs are not sent.
Google Analytics uses cookies and processes technical information about a visit. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, link their identity across portfolio websites, or run advertising on this site. Analytics is not loaded on protected administration pages.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Do we disclose your information to anyone else?
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it with the providers needed to operate this website and respond to enquiries, including our web host, email provider and, when enabled, Google Analytics. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Some of these providers, including Google, may store or process data outside Australia.
How long do we keep it?
Enquiries are retained in our email records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and keep a reasonable business record. Server logs are rotated by our host in the normal course of operation. The application stores only the short-lived abuse-prevention data described above, rather than a separate database of enquiry messages.
Accessing or correcting your information
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This website links to other sites, including those in our portfolio. Those sites have their own privacy policies and practices. Check the relevant policy before providing information on another website.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
